Yuna

Yuna is the daughter of the last High Summoner, Braska. She is now a summoner in her own right, seeking to end the threat Sin poses to the people of Spira. Sometimes a little flighty, and definitely far too apologetic, Yuna is very kind and much loved by the people of Besaid Island, where she grew up.

As a summoner, Yuna possesses two absolutely invaluable skills. She has White Magic, which can be used to cure your party, heal status ailments, and protect against attack. She also has the ability to summon aeons, mystical entities that slaughter enemies in all directions. Because of this, she's one character you'll probably use in most battles. As she journeys through her section of the Sphere Grid, picking up tons of White Magic skills, her Magic stat will grow to an insane degree. You might want to give her some powerful Black Magic, such as Flare or Ultima, when you get the chance.

Yuna's Overdrive: Grand Summon

Yuna's Overdrive causes her to summon the aeon of your choice with a full Overdrive gauge. The aeon can perform its Overdrive attack, after which its gauge will return to the state it was in before you summoned it. Thus, if you Grand Summon an aeon whose Overdrive gauge was already full, the aeon can perform two Overdrive attacks in a row, which is very useful.
