Bahamut is, simply put, a tank. He has very high Strength, Defense, and Magic. He comes with the full complement of elemental spells plus Scan, and is the most powerful of the aeons you are required to get. His unique attack, Impulse, strikes all enemies for a fair amount of damage, but it has a long recovery time.

Even when you first get him, Bahamut's Overdrive, Mega Flare, will consistently deal more than 9,999 damage to an opponent, and it just gets stronger. It strikes all enemies for tremendous damage.

Bahamut comes with his damage limit pre-broken, and therefore you need not activate any Celestial Weapons to break it.
